:pointr: Who is this club for?
Like our group description says, this is a club organizing ACEO exchanges for most talented animal, anthro and furry artists from all over the world!

:pointr: What are these ACEOs/ATCs?
ACEO (Art Cards, Editions and Originals) or ATC (Artist Trading Cards) are miniature works of art. There are only two rules - the size of the cards must be 2.5 x 3.5 inches (64 mm X 89 mm) and they must be made using traditional techniques.

:pointr: What should I do for joining the club?
Just hit the join button and let us judge your skills : ) You do not need to add links to your pictures, we'll take a look at your whole gallery searching for traditional pieces.

:pointr: I've send my joining request several days ago. Why is decission taking so long?
It usually doesn't take more then two weeks, please be patient with us! We're organizing this club in our free time which can be really short sometimes.

:pointr: How do you choose new members?
We're seeking for those most talented. We look on artist's traditional pictures, if artworks are coloured and with background, judging the level of details, shading, structures and knowledge of animal anatomy. Our quality standarts are quite high so not everyone is accepted.

:pointr: It seems to me that you are accepting only popular artists. Is it true?
Noway! We do not look at artist's pageviews, number of DDs or whatever you mean. You can find almost any kind of artists among our members - newbies, long-time dA members, popular or not so popular artists.

:pointr: My joining request was denied. When is a good time to request again?
There is no given time. Simply do it when you think you made a nice progress with your art and you have at least 10 new pictures in your gallery. I would also recommend to wait maybe a half year before another request. Making visible progress takes some time : )

:pointr: Can I have more than one character for our exchanges?
Yes! You can fill up the questionare for up to 10 characters. Your trading partner can choose any of these characters to draw.

:pointr: How can I change informations about me or my characters?
Simply send an email to or dA note to Dragarta and I'll send you your actual character information. You can update it and send back to me. Done!

:pointr: I don't have any original characters, is it a problem?
Not at all. You can for example give us names of your favourite animal species instead.

:bulletred: TRADING

:pointr: Do I have to join the trade every month?
Nope! You can participate only those months you are willing to. If you don't answer the month's email, I'll consider you as not joining the month's exchange, and that's all.

:pointr: How do you pair couples?
I am always pairing members by random. Actually I have a little pc application for it and I am not cheating : ) This application is also very clever so you can't be paired with someone in the club twice.

:pointr: I am done with my part of the trade, where do I get my partner's address?
At first you should wait till your partner show you the finished card too. Then you can ask him to exchange addresses and send out your card.

:pointr: I've already traded with few members but we did our exchanges outside of the club. How do I avoid to be paired with them here?
Simply send me a note or email with a list of these artists. You can also update this list anytime you want.

:pointr: I have a personal problem with member of the club. May I avoid to be paired with him?
Yes, just let me know who it is and I'll anonymously remove him from the list of your potential partners. But please keep this up to three persons you do not want to trade with.

:bulletred: CREATING ACEOs

:pointr: I am more like a digital artist, may I still be a part of the club?
In most cases no. The main purpose of our club is trading traditionaly done cards and to be a member you must prove your traditional skills first. So if you don't have enough of these examples in your gallery, we won't accept you.

:pointr: I am not satisfied with quality of the card I received, what can I do?
You can send a complain to the club's email ( or dA note to Dragarta. If the complain is confirmed as valid, this problematic member will be anonymously notified about that.

:pointr: Should I sign my name on the card?
Sure! Please sign and date all your cards on the back side. We want to know who and when made it for us : )

:bulletred: OTHER

:pointr: I don't want to upload finished ACEOs to devART, is it a problem?
Nope, you don't have to publish them here. But be sure to show your finished card to Dragarta before the end of the month.

:pointr: I've uploaded finished card to the club, why can't I see it in the gallery?
Submissions to "Cards from 2011" folder must be approved first. This helps us to keep track of who has finished his card. So please be patient, we'll let it through as soon as possible.

:pointr: May I recommend some new members to join?
Do it please! We're still searching for new talented members to join us. Simply send an email to or dA note to Dragarta with links to your favourite animal/anthro/furry artists.

If you have ANY new question reagarding our exchanges, feel free to leave a comment here so I can answer it and add it to the list.

Hello. Been thinking about joining, but currently I have no working scanner so I've been doing mostly digital work lately.
My question is whether a decent photo of the card is considered enough as a DA submission or not?
Dragarta Featured By Owner May 22, 2014   General Artist
Sure, if you can take a nice photo and adjust it in some graphic editor, no problem at all :)

Hi ! I'd like to join once but I don't have any fixed style (I like to change the style and techniques I use)
Would that be a problem ?
Dragarta Featured By Owner Apr 28, 2014   General Artist
That's not a problem if the skills are up to our standards :)

I have a question about making ACEO; is there a specific kind of paper that you can buy already at the 2.5 x 3.5 size, or would you buy a full sized paper and just cut it down? I am interested in joining, but haven't had experience making ACEO yet (though I do draw traditionally somewhat often).
Dragarta Featured By Owner Mar 29, 2012   General Artist
That depends on art shops you have around. But yes, you can buy such little papers in some of them :) And if you don't find any, you can alway cut them by yourself :)

Hey there :D
I would like to ask, if you accept affliation requests?
Because I have an XChange on my own #RaiXChange and just thought, I will ask.

I've been wondering this, what do most people put on the back of the cards (from your experience)? Signature, date, dA account name? Or some kind of random other thing O.o
Dragarta Featured By Owner Jul 20, 2011   General Artist
I am not really sure what most people do. But I usually write there the name who is it for, who made it and when and lately I am also adding my stamp :)
Torotix Featured By Owner Jul 20, 2011  Professional Interface Designer
You have a stamp? That's pretty awesome. Too bad most kinds of paper wouldn't be fit to use a classic wax stamp/seal on :P

this is quite useful, thanks! I'll be working on my traditional work to improve well!!

Joining. Just a short note on what you wish to see (do you prefer links to many or just one? )
I need to practice a little, but I hope to join one day =^_^=
Dragarta Featured By Owner Oct 23, 2010   General Artist
Thx for your help!
Answer would be that we do not want any link. WeŽll just browse your whole gallery, looking at you traditionaly coloured pieces :)
Toyger Featured By Owner Oct 23, 2010  Student Digital Artist
Ah, OK, thanks =^_^=
